Karamsar Punjabi School runs and supports various Kirtan disciplines for all ages:
Karamsar Vaja Classes are held every Friday evening, on the 2nd floor Darbar in Karamsar Gurdwara, From 6.00pm tp 7.30pm.
Please be on time!
We currently have students, aged 5-16, including some adults.

Tabla classes are run every Saturday from 11-12pm. All levels are welcome – make the most of this opportunity.

Guru’s way with Guru’s Instruments
Karamsar Punjabi School in association with Raj Academy Conservatoire, is pleased to announce that we now provide the opportunity for everyone to achieve a Diploma in Gurmat Sangeet.
Please arrive promptly!
Concentrating exclusively on authentic Sikh traditions and instruments, we run courses to learn and master Classical Indian Instruments including the Rabab, Saranda, Jori, Sarangi, Taus and Dilruba.
Please feel free to come and join us in our weekly class, held on Saturdays at Karamsar Centre, from 1pm to 3pm.
This course consists of 8 grades, taught over 3 years:
Year 1 covers Grade 1, 2 and 3
Year 2 covers Grade 4, 5, and 6
Year 3 covers Grade 7 and 8 (incl 12 weeks support classes)
Each grade = 12 weeks of study
Total 36 weeks of study per year
This is open to all ages and ability, based here at Karamsar, and in Southall. Minimum requirements listed below:
– Basic English
– Minimum age of 7 years
– Must select only ONE of the specified Sikh instruments
– Minimum 15 minutes daily for practice
– DVD player to view lessons
